Dr. W. Byron Barber of Barber Center for Plastic Surgery has been elected President of The Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (SESPRS).

Greensboro, NC, June 13, 2011 – Dr. W. Byron Barber has been elected as President of the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.

The Southeastern Society is the oldest regional plastic surgery organization in the country and represents over 500 board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeons in the Southeastern United States.  Dr. Barber has served on the Board of Trustees for the Society for nearly ten years prior to being elected to the highest leadership position in the organization.

Dr. Barber is a board certified Plastic Surgeon in Greensboro who specializes in cosmetic surgery of the face and body.  Dr. Barber also serves as Chief of Plastic Surgery for the Moses Cone Health System.  He has been in practice in Greensboro since 1990.
